ABOUT THE CLIENT

Southside Virginia Community College is part of the Virginia Community College System  (VCCS), and serves a diverse student population within a service area that spans ten counties and the City of Emporia in the Southside region of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

THE CLIENT’S GOALS

The Southside Virginia Community College’s two primary campuses had recently completed capital building projects which resulted in new Student Services Centers at each campus. With the modern buildings came the opportunity to improve the visitor experience at each campus with wayfinding signage which could support and strengthen brand engagement at the same time. The Rubia Group team was selected to deliver recommendations, designs, production and installation of campus-wide exterior signage at the college’s campuses in Alberta and Keysville, Virginia. We also designed and oversaw production and installation of a branded awning at Southside’s workforce development training center.
